I am an artist first, a designer second and a fine craftsman.
When designing a piece I look at the space, search for the “feel” and listen to the client’s desires. First I select a shape or form. The shape has to stand alone and make a statement. I work in many styles, but I gravitate to contemporary work with curves looking for natural lines depicting movement and action often found in nature or the human body.
Once the form is set, I choose the materials and colors accentuating and complimenting the other elements in the room.
If I stand back from a piece and I feel a certain emotional tug, almost like looking at your lover, I am satisfied and know that the piece is successful.
This is how I work as an artist. As a designer, I must get into your head and space to find that emotional tug within you.
Email or call-there has never been a better time to talk about that piece that will move you every day and you will treasure for a lifetime. As always, there is no obligation or fees for a consult.
