Delivery:
Delivery and setup is free to all deliveries with 120 miles of York. Prices do not include delivery outside of the free delivery area, in transit insurance, sales or other taxes, uncrating, installation or other assembly charges.

Terms
All orders require a written sales order with a fifty percent (50%) deposit to initiate production, with the balance due upon completion and prior to shipping the order. Each order will be processed as indicated on the sales order and is the final agreement with Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking and supersedes all prior written and oral data regarding said order. In the event that the delivery is delayed by the customer, the order is to be paid in full upon completion.

Changes
Change orders will be accepted at the discretion of Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking and must be accompanied by a written change order. Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking will then issue a revised sales order describing the change and the resulting price and schedule affects. The customer must return a signed copy of the revised sales order before the change is initiated.

Cancellations
Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking’s acceptance of an order is final and binding. We will allow cancellation of an order after confirmation and prior to the start of production with a full refund of the deposit. Once the customer receives the notification of the start of production, any cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the 50% deposit. Delivered orders may not be returned for any reason whatsoever except when repair or replacement is indicated.

Delivery
Delivery can usually be accomplished within 6 to 8 weeks from deposit, provided there are no delays upon our submission of shop drawings for approval. Additional time may be required due to the scope and detail of a project, in which case we will do our best to meet your delivery requirements. Delays in delivery will not constitute a cause for cancellation or contract price reductions. Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking will not be responsible for delays caused by outside contractors, suppliers, or any conditions beyond our control. Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking does not assume any responsibility or liability where site conditions prevent the delivery of said project. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine that the size of completed projects can clear doorways, elevators, etc. Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking is not responsible for arranging local installation, or for assembling of those projects shipped unassembled.

Shipping
Shipping and insurance are not included in our price unless noted in the contract. Unless complete shipping instructions are given by the customer, Jack Rodie Fine Woodworking will select the carrier. We typically use a number of high quality blanket-wrap art movers. We can also offer crating and overnight express deliveries.

Claims
All furniture is shipped at the owner’s risk after it has been carefully inspected, packed, and accepted by the carrier. Before accepting merchandise from the carrier, inspect carefully and note any product loss or damage on the delivery receipt. If there is loss or damage make immediate claim with the carrier, or in some cases, and only on prior approval from GLF, return the product immediately to GLF for repairs. In the case of concealed damage, keep the packing materials and notify the carrier immediately.

Warranties:
Each piece is warranted for the life of the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions. Each piece is made from natural materials and are vulnerable to moisture, heat, and sunlight. The warranty does not cover normal events such as color changes and veneer checking. The warranty does not transfer with the transfer of ownership from the original purchaser. Every attempt will be made to repair the item and the item will be replaced as a last resort. Under no circumstances will the deposit or sales price be fully or partially refunded.
